This silhouetted cowboy on his horse image was taken at Utah's annual Antelope Island Bison Roundup. At the end of each October cowboys from across the globe come together to round up close to 800 bison. The bison are drove from the south end of the island to the north. Once they are rounded up in the corrals, the bison are assessed, given immunizations (if needed), and sorted. Since they roam on state park land, if the bison count exceeds the resources available, the excess are sold at auction.
